2006 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Price: $50.00

Gold Medal American Fine Wine Comp

Tasting Notes
: This Cabernet Sauvignon teases with aromas of vanilla, currants and blackberries. A burst of black cherries and blackberries greets you in the front palate. The finish has hints of tobacco. The acidity is bright, and the finely-integrated tannins are balanced.

Production Notes:

The Cabernet Sauvignon grapes were grown on Wilms Ranch on James Creek Road in the Aetna Springs area of the Napa Valley and are 100% of the wine composition.  The grapes were crushed and fermented at GV cellars with winemaker Richard Mansfield. Richard and Peter Murphy worked with the wine until March 2008 when the wine was moved to Cuvaison winery in Calistoga.  The wine was bottled in May 5, 2008 after 17 months of oak barrel aging.
